TODAY WE PROVIDED A SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM ROYAL PARADE TO PLYM VALLEY RAILWAY, WHO WERE RUNNING BRAKEVAN RIDES FOR MOTHERS DAY USING STEAM LOCO 0-4-0 705. WE HAD LEYLAND ATLANTEAN 171 AND DART 47 IN SERVICE AND 7552 STATIONED AT COYPOOL FOR SALES. 9 WAS ALSO OUT FOR DISPLAY AND MANAGED TO RUN THE LAST JOURNEY INTO TOWN.

Today we held our 2nd Dartmoor running day. Visiting Tavistock, Burrator, Princetown, Clearbrook and Milton combe. Using LHS 1557, Olympian 412, Atlantean 168 and scania 371. A total of 227 passenger journeys were undertaken
We were treated to the return to Plymouth's roads of Plymouth corporation leyland Atlantean PDR1 FJY914E 214. Owner Paul Furse has beauitfully restored this vehicle. With 131 and a sunny day, we recreated a day in 1981 on routes of 21 to Chaddlewood, 42 to tamerton foliot and 26 Durnford st to Estover.A chance for members old and new to catch up and reminisce. We had expert knowledge from Paul Burch on the use of wooden destination boards and how buses were routed and terminated at then new housing estates expanding out from Plymouth
